The public website uses essential local storage. Live app sign-in uses __Host-else_session, an HTTP-only Secure cookie with a seven-day member lifetime or twelve-hour admin lifetime. It is partitioned where supported for Telegram’s embedded browser. Sign-out and account deletion clear it. There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
Website storage
else.storage.v1 records your essential-storage choice, policy version and date. else.motion remembers whether you chose to pause or play the background. Both stay on this device until you clear site data. The English-only website does not read or save a language preference.
App storage
else.demo.v1 contains your resettable local demo profile, preferences, text messages, decisions, blocks and reports. else.locale remembers your selected app language. else.motion remembers a requested motion preference. Media attachments are held in memory, not persisted in these entries.
Offline cache
The installed app may cache public HTML, scripts, styles, fonts, icons and fictional demo photos. Updates replace outdated cached files. Private API responses are not cached by this build. You can remove offline files by clearing the app origin’s site data in your browser.
Your choices
Only storage used by the features described above is enabled. There are no optional tracking categories to accept. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer, change the background-motion preference or clear site data through your browser. Optional tracking, if ever introduced, will require a separate choice before activation.
